Rowans specialises in all structural steel and plate work fabrication for the mining industry, ranging from module plants, buildings, conveyors, chutes, hoppers etc.
We have a beam liner drilling machine that increase our capacity and shortens our delivery time. Our workshop has recently been refurbished to a height of 8 metres enabling us to manufacture large structures, bins and tanks. The workshop boasts four over-head cranes with capacities of 5 and 10 tons respectively.
Rowans Construction has a lay down area of 3000mē, consisting of a concrete slab which is ideal for trial erection of plans and conveyors.
Sandblasting& Painting
All sandblasting is done on the premises, in our enclosed 18m x 6m sandblasting bay.
Steelwork and plate work can be sandblasted and primed with a QD or high spec. This allows Rowans Construction to reduce costs by limiting handling and transportation.
